Touches of Christmas
What is it that makes me love Christmas?
Is it sharing times with family and friends?
Is it neighbours taking the time to say "Hi how's it going?"
Is it decorating the house with 'old friends' that have been packed away for 12 months, dusted off and homes found so they can shine again?
Probably all of the above. So I thought I would take photos of all the Christmas touches that have become the memories of our Christmas 2011.
Flower Favour Boxes
Happy little flower favour boxes.
These came about as I was trying to find a nice colour combination for Poppy's 1st birthday.
Pink - dark and light, with orange and a nice light green.
I found leftover printed papers from Valentines Day and off I went.
Just loving my Big Shot Die-Cut machine.
These boxes are the mini milk carton, flipped and tab top cut & folded to form a box and not a milk carton. Leaving a nice flat top to attach a flower.
Fun Flowers are embossed with Plenty of Petals after cutting. A little glitter, which on later flowers grew to more glitter, but it's for a little girl after all.
The next question - What do I put in them?
Yummy !

Sweet Treats.....
Sweet Treats.... filled with assorted lollies, choc coated nuts 'n' raisins.
A quick make to take to a Christmas event.
Mini Milk Cartons, stamped with snowflakes, glitter glue centres,
Cherry Cobbler card stock & ink, Baja Breeze card stock.
If you punch a hole for the ribbon and tag a fraction off centre you can use the folds on the top of the milk carton, the candies can then be poured out into your hand.
Too easy - too yummy.
