Hippity, Hippity Hop

Love this stamp set, Happy Everybunny.
These I have water coloured, embossed oval frame and added to a simple c/stock tag.
I embossed the tag with a lace edgelit and stamped, another favorite, splatter stamp in crumb cake,
from the French Foliage stamp set.

Thank you Frenchie, from Stamping with Frenchie for the idea for this cute basket.

This little bunny needs a bit more noodling  to settle him into the basket, but you get the idea and size.

Brown Basket,  wrapped ready to give.
Bunny is tucked down better in this basket surrounded with tiny eggs...yum.

Directions for this basket is available on http://www.frenchiestamps.com/
For those in Australia, you will need to adjust your measurements to match Aussie
paper sizes, but that's easy to do.

Gift Bags With A Difference

Since publishing the photos below, I have added a Velcro/button clasp to the top of each bag.
I think it finishes the bags off and holds the note cards more securely.
Always a work in progress.

Thank you Becky Roberts - Inking Idaho, Stampin' Up gal for the template for these cute gift bags.

A Gal can never have too many Handbags...

I popped into each bag 4 gift notes made with matching DSPapers and notions.

As you can see, I made some changes as I progressed with this project.
The purse top is squared off to make gluing easier. Shortened the handles.  Brads go through the handles into the purse body to make them more stable and able to hold the heavier cards.

Good fun.  I love playing with paper.

Handy Little Helper

I have been looking for something to hold my work once done.  Displaying pieces so I am surrounded with inspiration but not buried in odds n bobs.
Ah Ha!
A pasta drying rack - of course.  $20... done!

Items on display - left to right - silly sheep tag, fun black tags with velvet finish, card showing various DSPapers embossed after attaching to the card front, marshmallows in a purse gift bag, tags n tags.

Tags Galore!

What to do with those pesky left overs?
All those corners and waste pieces, today I turned them into tiny tags.
Added a bit of bling, sponged the edges,
and there you have it,  handy tags to add some sparkle into any ones day.

I saw in a card making magazine a series of "quick" cards. The ribbon threaded through the tines of the brad to form a simple bow appealed to me and I always love using old pages from books.
'Thinking of you' is stamped onto left over book pages, all attached to a simple c/stock tag.
Hemp twine adds a soft simple touch.

My Favourite...
I love the whole look, old world style, that's me.
These tags did use an awful lot of card stock in the making.  C/stock for the backing, DSPaper for the accent, then framed in more c/stock with the centre punched out.  Yes, I did make smaller tags with the 'chads' removed from the frames.  All in all, fun to make and a good amount of tags ready and waiting for just the right moment.
