Christmas 2015 Stampin' Up Creations.

So many uses for the Sketched Dots Tag a Bags.  These will be to hold gift cards.   The DSP is from the Valentine's Day DSP Stack.
A lot of fussy cutting...but hey the effect is cute.  There is not much about this years Christmas DSP packs that I don't like. Add the darling pom-pom accent.... too easy.

These cute little houses are filled with wrapped chocolates ready for those unexpected gift moments.

Thank you Marelle for the inspiration in design for these card fronts.

Again, thank you Marelle for your catalogue launch gift.  I'm happy to reproduce your creations,
 they are so appealing.

Y'all Know I Love Christmas - right?

Cute little 5cm x 5cm self close boxes made in designer series paper with the pompom 'ribbon' made into holly sprigs.   Also a tiny pinch close goodie bag with a paper poinsettia on a wooden peg to close top.
I love the wooden snowflake embellishment....yeah I know it's Summer, but who cares, it's Christmas.

Fun way to dress up some after-dinner mints and use up last years Christmas paper stack.

Real Red and Pear Pizzaz cardstock lollie holders for Julia's work Christmas Party.
I found a wholesale lolly company, local, that would sell to the public ...ah Aladdin's Cave...
So I've bagged up some Strawberry and Cream Sticks, and they all colour co-ordinated.

'Making Spirits Bright.'

I can't believe I've made dozens of these little critters and not taken any photos.
So here is the start of my next batch.

What you lookin' at Rudolph?

Mad Martha at Halloween

"Follow the candles....follow the candles...."

Split personality Martha....mad and crazy one minute.

Then calm, "Who me?  I wouldn't do anything crazy."

We know better though, Miss Martha.

I Love HALLOWEEN

Don't go 'dotty' looking at all this yummy goodness, I can't say
this will be my last Halloween post because
I do love the fun of Halloween.

B O O !

More Spooky Fun

This years Trick or Treat treats.
My US friends will laugh, last year we had 4 little monsters knock on our door.  Nothing in comparison to a Woodinville Halloween.

Yes I've made more than I should have of these shadow boxes, but I like them.
Pootles cute tent shaped container (left),
which will be re-invented as a Christmas Dinner table place card/treat box.

I love this box with the window cut out.  (I did add white c/s behind the owl to make him pop).
It is a work in progress...as it's quite large and would take a lot of candy to fill it. hmmm
Re-do as a gift box is the answer I think.

B O O to you !

Well I couldn't wait for this stamp and die-cut set to arrive... I've been having fun as you can see.
Too much fun...It started as one for Toby, one for Henry and a different colour way for Poppy.
It just grew.

Fries Box, modified with a spring theme.  I thought they would make cute holders for lollies.
These have rainbow coloured tictacs and chocolates and
I've re-purposed the oval punch outs to use as embellishments.

Too much fun.

Love the stamp and die-cut set from last Christmas and re-purposed it for Halloween.
This is a  7cm x 5cm finished box ready to fill with....lollies.

7cm x 5cm  Finished box.  Ready to post to Tassie, filled of course.

10cm x 6cm Finished box.  Ready to fill for..Toby I think.

You can just make out the embossed texture to the front of these cards.
Love the birch tree trunk design.  So many uses, I can see sparkling, frosty tree trunk Christmas cards, very woodsy and lovely.

We did have some Halloween visitors last year so maybe
I need to keep working on ideas for Trick or Treat visitors.  Any excuse to play with paper.

Beautiful Butterflies....

Beautiful  Butterflies...

I offered to make a selection of Thank You cards for special guests
attending our CWA Group Conference.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Journaling Cards are simply
fun to use for such a project.

Each card front is made up of 3 journaling card.

2 for background;  the other mounted on c/stock and centred on front.
I've added burlap and seam-binding ribbon to cover joins.

As you can see the cards have fun sentiments
already printed and I've embellished with punched out butterflies.
As a special touch to the cards I've attached graduating butterflies and sentiment to
the front of each envelope, as they will be given rather than posted.

All a Bloom....
Lost Lagoon,  Hello Honey,  Soft Suede make lovely flower peg closures.
All made with paper punches, too easy and so quick.

BLOOM...Lost Lagoon and Pool Party make cute rose pegs each with pearl centres, Kraft leaves and tags stamped with BLOOM from the For Peeps Sake Easter stamp set.

Fun Tags - Made from Journal-ling Cards.

Project Life Journal-ling Cards.

I just love the sentiments and colour way of these cards and thought well they don't have to be

(8 cm wide x 12 cm high)  These would be lovely on any gift bag.

Tag You're It....

I love these Tiny Tags.
Is it the kraft paper, or the images, or the cuteness of the bundles?
I'm not sure...I just like the look.

Tags are two layers, folded at the top, each have a twine tie - (5 cm x 2.5 cm), pack of 5.

Larger Tags.
These would be perfect for a simple white or black tote bag with a hessian or dark brown bow.

Brown paper packages tied with string.....

Certainly, one of  my favourite things.

Seed Packet - in Kraft...

I found this great Washi Tape in a cute shop in Newtown, Sydney.
Hounds-tooth pattern, as you can see the colour of the pegs show through
so they look quite different.

Tags to slip inside the Seed Packet Envelopes below.

Chilly Weather Card Making...

What a great idea, same card recipe, different colour way and sentiment.

Another quick idea, stamp your own design on c/stock.

Cute little booties for cute little beauties.
Of course the booties are made using  the Christmas Stocking Punch.
Too Easy!

Just Because....they looked so cute.
My tip is to go to Pinterest.com and check out paper crafting or Stampin Up card ideas.
Something is bound to catch your eye, add your take/twist and make it your way.
