Christmas 2017

I love this little fellow.  Is he an elf ?  A gnome?   Just too cute, and I do quite like this embossing technique.  Who wouldn't like to receive a silver foil box, what could possibly be inside.

As you can see I have not been able to post to either the family blog or my crafting blog.
But now we are back and operational.

HAPPY  NEW  YEAR

Birthday Card for that Guy in your Life.

Yep, he likes fishing...but I also wanted something to remind us of camping around Lake Wenatchee, Washington, or even Cottage Lake where we once lived.  And lets not forget the huge cedar trees that surrounded our house in Woodinville, Washington.
Lots of memories.

Christmas 2017

I love these pizza boxes, so many design ideas and who doesn't need gift tags at Christmas.

2017 Christmas theme for the Clark's Kitchen.

Make and Take Christmas Cards 2017

Similar in design, but with a few changes two very different looks.  2017

Happy Halloween 2017

B O O...

My original thought was to make a votive candle holder in the shape of a black metal lantern.
I love the cute cat punched from SU Halloween Designer Series Paper.
Clear tiny treat boxes (141699) form the box and Basic Black cardstock outlines the lantern shape.
Images were stamped on the clear boxes before assembly.
As you can see the idea is there, but I need to tweak some of the steps to streamline the process.

Quick and Unique Gifts for anytime.

Oh I loved the little dear, but the relaxing Adirondack chair wins it for me.
Add a cushion, cherry blossom, even a summer drink.  Quick, personal little add-on for the gift giving season.

Christmas is coming....

Thank you Pinterest for the inspiration to stamp onto a jar.

I love finding uses from everyday items.  Here is a pasta sauce jar re-purposed into a votive holder.
I've stamped - well rolled really, 'Deck the Halls' stamp from Stampin' Up Christmas catalogue, stamped in Staz On then heat dried with the heat tool.
Add this lush black and white striped wire edged ribbon, silver Christmas bauble, Lemon Lime Twist ribbon, and gorgeous pine accent.

Coffee Cafe - Ooh I love this bundle.

From tags, cards and coasters, so many different uses.

This card has a gift card slide in envelope.
Crumbcake, Early Espresso, co-ordinating DSP, tied together with copper ribbon.

Post-it pads.  Quick, useful gifts.  What a versatile suite.

Self Closing Gift Boxes

I love this technique.
Just by adding diagonal score lines to the closures, these boxes stay closed without glue or ribbon.  Love it!
Great favour boxes...yeah?

Hey Chick !

These little ladies just put a smile on my face every time.

These three are on mini wooden pegs so they can be removed to help around the house holding important papers together, of course!

Happy Valentines Day - 2017

Remembering Valentines Day 2017.   The cute 'truck' stamp set was all the rage.  Here is the card I made for my Julia.  She loves cupcakes....so of course it's a Cupcake Truck.  Why not.

These little chicks reminded me of our chicken 'Polly' back in Tasmania.  She was such a silly chicken and we loved her.  So of course when 'Hey Chick' stamp set came my way...Polly came back to us.

Paper Lanterns

What do you do with Christmas lights that you forgot to pack away?
Re-purpose them into paper lanterns of course.
2"x 2"x 2" cardstock cubes and glimmer paper butterflies complete the idea.

Bookcase Builder Stamp Set

Well it doesn't have to make Bookcase cards...right?
Here I've made stacking boxes and added panels using the Stitched Framelits.
Cute little images in any colour you wish and there you have
a cute way to present a baby shower gift etc.
Box 1 - (cube) 2" x 2" x 2"
Box 2 - 2" x 4" x 2"
Box 3 - 2" x 6" x 2"
15 images stamped on the smallest Stitched Framelit square.  And away you go!
3 Boxes separate and stacked then held in place with ribbon or twine.
Simples.

Easter is coming

Again another pootles box idea.  Love her boxes.
This one is a tiny, really tiny box.  Holds about 7 mini eggs perfect for a quick gift or treat.
I've made this in Peekaboo Peach c/stock and ink pad.
Love the tiny paperclips, check out the catalogue.

Hey Chicks!

Love these little ladies.
Fun to watercolour a little or a lot, and in any variation you like.
Here we have Bermuda Bay c/stock card base, and Whisper White stamped with Bermuda Bay ink to create interest.  Add Bakers Twine.
I have to thank Pootles.co.uk for the great box idea.

"HELLO to you"

I love this technique of layering thinlit words to create texture.
hello  is 4 layers of Early Esspresso topped with Mint Macaron glitter paper.
Both cards and box are Crumb Cake, with Mint Macaron c/stock and burlap ribbon, and of course
Oh So Succulent DSP.

Add a little bling.

I'm having so much fun playing with the Stampin' Up....'Oh So Succulent' stamp and framelit set.

Fun Favour Boxes/Pots....

It took a bit of tweaking but I now have a way of turning these cute peat pots into favour boxes,
add a few chocolates and you have a cute table decoration or treat box.

Indoor Cactus Patch.

I'm having too much fun making this little cactus display.

Peat Pots from Bunnings are a perfect start.

Add a few cactus variations from the Oh So Succulent stamp and framelit sets.

Change the colour-ways.

Get a bit funky.
(2" & 2 1/2" circle punches make cute cactus)

Just have fun with it!
